What we do	You will see from our aims that we work with the Council on its housing (landlord) service, to ensure that this meets local needs. We are also a group that enables local people to raise issues that are important to them as tenants and residents. We also encourage local tenants to form groups to do the same but in their street or local area.
Contribution to Partnership	To provide a forum of Council Tenants and Leaseholders which is duly constituted and which exists to provide a service to all council tenants and leaseholders of the Borough of Bournemouth (the Council). To advise the Council on areas of Policy and Procedure that will affect all council tenants and leaseholders. To promote and assist the development of council tenant and leaseholder groups across the Borough. To represent the interests and views of council tenant and leaseholders locally and nationally. To evaluate and monitor tenant and leaseholder involvement within the Borough. To encourage the promotion of Equal Opportunities in all of its activities for all, and not to discriminate on the grounds of race,colour, ethnic or national origin or because of their gender, disability of health (including HIV + status), Sensory or speech impairment, age, sexual orientation, religion, political party or marital status.
