| What we do |
The Learning & Skills Council will act to: -promote equality of opportunity -develop citizenship -widen participation in learning. It will do this through: -encouraging young people to stay on in learning -increasing demand for learning by adults -raising economic performance.

| Contribution to Partnership | The Bournemouth, Dorset and Poole Learning & Skills Council is a local arm of a national organisation responsible for all post 16 education and learning. It has the key responsibility to encourage more people to transform their lives through education and training, and give local businesses a voice in meeting their skill needs. |
