It supports closely objective 1 of the sustaining our Environment section by providing information on the natural areas of Bournemouth and contributes significantly to target 5 by providing outdoor countryside education events

| Contribution to Partnership | The Dorset branch of Butterfly conservation is part of a national charity of some 12000 members, which has a mission statement – to save our native butterflies, moths and their habitats. One of Butterfly conservation’s adjectives is to foster interest in government and voluntary bodies and the public in general in problems concerning the conservation of natural flora and fauna and, in particular, British butterflies and moths. |
