What we do	The Daily Echo will strive to promote the cultural, social and tourism advantages of Bournemouth, while taking an honest and balanced approach to the presentation of news and opinions of our readers. We will continue to publicise the efforts of all agencies, whether local government, police, business or charitable, to improve standards within our town. Through our news and features columns, our supplements and special publications, we will endeavour to support all initiatives included in the Community Plan, while maintaining the independence and subjectivity essential to the credibility of a local newspaper. Crime, social problems, educational standards, tourism and the promotion of our glorious area will form a major part of our coverage over the next five years as much as they have over the previous 100.
Contribution to Partnership	The Daily Echo is a community newspaper which has been providing a news service to most of Dorset and parts of Hampshire since 1900. By concentrating on local news, we aim to provide comprehensive coverage of all news, features, entertainments and sport across the area. We aim to be fair, honest and balanced in our coverage, but always strive to uphold the best traditions of investigative journalism and campaigning support for our readers. Nothing is too small or indeed, too large to appear in the Echo.
