What we do	We understand that Bournemouth 2026 is prioritising environmental issues and is a socially conscious group. We are already organising a public meeting with an influential environmentalist and being amongst the first to support a new national initiative that she is introducing.
Contribution to Partnership	Dorset Humanists represent the non religious people in Bournemouth. We are affiliated to the British Humanist Association and have accredited officiates/celebrants to perform weddings, baby namings and funerals or to celebrate important personal occasions. We’re represented on standing advisory councils for religious education and speak on humanism in schools and to local organisations. We fundraise for local and other charities and encourage environmental care, amongst other activities.
