What we do	IBEX intends to make its contribution through - Maintaining and expanding its contacts with businesses and organisations in the local economy of Bournemouth - Maintaining and expanding its contacts with those seeking to develop localised economies of benefit to residents - Offering the benefits to be gained from its wider networks - Particular involvement with working groups associated with the priorities of 'Strengthening Our Economy', 'Learning Throughout Life' and 'Sustaining Our Environment' - Working with others to ensure that the Partners can make their maximum contribution to the achievement of the Community Plan.
Contribution to Partnership	IBEX is an ecumenical body offering the Churches' engagement with the local economy of Bournemouth, (as well as Poole, Southampton, Portsmouth and surrounding areas). IBEX is committed to a broad range of work. This includes involvement with the Chamber of Trade ad Commerce, Trade Unions, Town Centre Management, the Financial Services Sector, the Credit Union of Bournemouth, chaplaincy to Bournemouth International Airport, support for Voluntary chaplaincies, especially to retail, and the Co-Operative and Social Economy Sector. IBEX recognises that the local economy of Bournemouth is set in the wider contexts of the region, the UK, Europe and the globe. We are involved in networks at all these levels. IBEX is willing to work with all no matter what their faith affiliation or if they are unaffiliated to any faith community. IBEX feeds back what it learns in the local economy into the churches.
