Early years and childcare is an expanding and dynamic sector. It’s also an important career, as those who work in it play an incredibly valuable role in shaping the lives of future generations.
This is why Bournemouth, Dorset and Poole Local Authorities have created a brand new website dedicated to working in childcare.
Whether you are new to childcare, an experienced practitioner, or if you are looking for a new challenge, we can help.
Job Vacancies in Early Years and Childcare
On the site, you will find a wide range of local job vacancies for childcare and early years including children’s centres. There is an increasing demand for staff at all levels whether you want to work full-time, part-time or term time only.
Careers in Childcare Information Sessions
If you would like to work with children but are not sure what to do next then why not attend one of our FREE Careers in Childcare Information Sessions.

• Details on what the next steps are to begin your career in childcare
• Training and gaining qualifications
The next session is on Monday 11 January 2010 from 6:30pm to 9pm at the Bournemouth Learning Centre in Ensbury Park.
