Every year the BH Life editor conducts a survey to monitor customer satisfaction with the magazine. The survey covers how satisfied people are with various aspects of the magazine including how useful or interesting they find the information.
This year there were additional questions about how well informed people feel about Bournemouth Borough Council and their views on the Council in general.
This was an online survey that was sent to all Bournemouth residents on the e-panel and others who expressed an interest in taking part in online surveys.
Results will be available here in due course.
You can see the results of the survey in the report below.
The findings influenced decisions aout how BH Life will be produced in the future.
As part of the Council's savings for 2011/12 and 2012/13, BH Life will be published four times a year instead of bi- monthly (six editions a year), saving a total of £25,000.
The cost to the Council of producing BH Life remains around 10p a copy, including production, printing and distribution.
The magazine format is the most cost-effective way of providing printed information about council services to every household in the borough.
