Influencing Decisions Strategy 2010-13
The Influencing Decisions strategy is now in effect, having been passed by the Vision Board. It is concerned with three main outcomes, to be achieved over the course of three years. The outcomes are:

Creating awareness of the opportunities that already exist to influence decisions is a key aspect of the project, as is a proactive approach to consultation and the imperative to provide timely and honest feedback once consultation has taken place.
Tracy Priestley (Bournemouth Borough Council) gave a comprehensive overview of the project, after which conference delegates were invited to share their thoughts on the following questions:
