Performance Reward Grant for LAAs

The government has operated reward schemes since 2001 providing local areas with a financial incentive to achieve stretch targets agreed in relation to key improvement priorities. Independent research has concluded that these schemes have contributed to improved performance by local partnerships.
Since 2001, reward schemes have developed and changed.  Guidance being applied to LAA1 signed in 2007 is different to the guidance now being applied to LAA2 signed in 2008.
