All local authorities are producing a ‘Local Account’ which should inform residents on how Community Care are doing and where they need to improve. Bournemouth Borough Council asked residents what they would like to see in the local account.
We asked residents to let us know:
1. Which (Community Care) services you would like to particularly focus on in the "Local Account", for example services to support Carers, our Information and Advice services, Protecting Adults from Abuse and help to live at home.. Or would you like to know a little about them all?
2. What information in particular about these services you would find interesting to know, and what would help you to judge how successful they are – for example do you want to know how many people we supported in the last year or what users thought of them?
3. How Bournemouth Borough Council could best present and publish the ‘Local Account’. For example should we put copies in libraries or only have it available through our web site?
4. About your experiences of any of our services over the last year or what you think we need to improve.
