Bournemouth residents looking for advice on a range of issues such as leisure, transport, social care or employment will be able to find information more quickly and easily thanks to a new ‘Information for Living’ webpage.
The new web page, www.bournemouth2026.org.uk/information-for-living has been launched following the success of dedicated information stands that were introduced in Bournemouth’s libraries and community centres last year providing a range of leaflets and booklets in one central point.
The web page features a number of useful links to sites on issues affecting residents of all ages.
Councillor Lynda Price, Cabinet Member for Health and Social Care said: “Since the introduction of the information stands last year, more than 25,000 leaflets and booklets have been taken up by residents. We want to make life even easier for residents and that is why we have expanded this service to include a dedicated webpage where local people can find out information affecting them at whatever stage of life they’re at.”
