The Draft Renewable Energy Strategy 2011 consultation document sets out a proposed strategy for the future.

The draft strategy has been developed following a detailed analysis of the potential for renewable energy in the area, identification of key issues to be considered, a public opinion survey and a consultation event held in March 2011.
