See Videos of what People are Already Doing

Bournemouth 2026 have filmed a series of short videos to show examples of how we’re already making a difference in Bournemouth.

They highlight why this work is so important and will hopefully encourage you to share ideas of other ways we can bring improvements.

There are six videos in total; the first two highlight the groups working to make life better in West Howe and Boscombe; both are areas with a long history of targeted community development and neighbourhood action. The other four cover our themes: Investing in People; Thriving Economy; Safer & Stronger Communities and Health & Wellbeing.  Unfortunately the video produced for Sustainable Environment was corrupted and we were unable to retrieve an original copy. 

We would like to say thank you to all those who took part in all the videos and apologise that we are unable to show the examples of work being undertaken for the Sustainable Environment.

The ideas you put forward after watching these videos will help shape an action plan for each theme, which will form part of the Sustainable Community Strategy for 2011 - 2014.  We will also highlight specific actions for West Howe and Boscombe in the strategy but rest assured work will be happening across the whole town to make improvements.

We would be very greatful to anyone who could spare the time to take part in sharing your ideas.
