About this Consultation

During 2005 and 2006 the Bournemouth 2026 partnership, which represents over 200 organisations in the public, business, voluntary and community sectors, created a Vision of the Bournemouth we would like to see in 2026.

A plan was then created to show what needed to be achieved in the first 4 years to start to move us towards achieving this Vision. This was called the Sustainable Community Strategy.

In all there will be six Sustainable Community Strategies produced, each covering 3 or 4 years, which will take us up to the year 2026. Each plan will detail what we need to do during that period to keep us on track to achieve our visions.

We are coming to the end of the first of these plans and we need to decide what we need to achieve over the next 3 years to take us that little bit further forwards.

To help us achieve our Vision for Bournemouth, we want to hear your ideas for actions that could make Bournemouth even better.
