This survey was conducted to help the Council consider changes on policy for the night time economy in Bournemouth and to continue to improve the environment and encourage greater mixed use for this area.
Questions focused on the extent to which local people use the Town Centre in the evenings and at night. It also covered their perceptions of the Town Cente at night.
This was an online survey that was sent to all members of the Bournemouth e-panel and others who expressed an interest in taking part in online surveys.
The results tables below show the topline results of the survey.
In addition, more than 150 respondents suggested other things that would encourage them to come into the Town Centre more in the evenings. Most frequently mentioned were:
