West Howe Go Green

West Howe is responding to climate change as a community - working together so residents, local businesses, housing providers and community organisations can reduce their carbon emissions by being more efficient and generating their own energy. Our goal is to make our behaviour and buildings more efficient and work together more cohesively to achieve this. We want to share our resources and energy generation capacity to strengthen the community against the effects of climate change.

The Low Carbon Community Challenge will help us by providing capital funding to dramatically launch our programme of change, helping West Howe become more resilient in the face of post-peak oil and capturing the imagination other communities in Bournemouth.
